The Market History
The Jonesborough Farmers Market is run by volunteers and was organized in 2008 by interested growers and customers.
About the Market
The Jonesborough Farmers Market is a community run, volunteer organized market for the direct sale of farm raised produce and homemade products. We are dedicated to supporting our local farmers and artisans, building our community, and increasing access to and awareness of fresh, healthy, locally grown food. We are a producer only market. We offer you two ways to buy the freshest local produce and food through our Saturday market and our online market for Wednesday pickup.
Our vendors offer fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses and baked goods, chocolates and confections. The Saturday market features live music (starting at 9am) and a café area. October is craft month at the market.
Finding the Market
From 11-E, turn toward downtown/Historic Jonesborough on Boone St. At the stop sign, turn right onto Main Street. You will see the market on the near side of the courthouse. Take the first left on the other side of the courthouse to access the parking lot.
